YOU GOTTA BE!
Listening to inspirational music can help you stay energized and focused during the RA! One motivational song I like is "You Gotta Be" by Des'ree. The lyrics are relevant to all education leaders because we often face complex and demanding work. As I head into the last week of my re-election campaign, these lyrics remind me that I can make a difference in the lives of our members and the students they serve!

HELLO DELEGATES!
Please watch my re-election video and learn more about my vision for the future of the NEA. I will work tirelessly to ensure that the NEA is a strong advocate for educators and the students we serve - and that our voice as education professionals is heard nationwide.
...AND THE SURVEY SAYS!
This video highlights responses from my leadership survey. I am grateful to hear your feedback on what I’m doing well and where I can improve. Your contribution will help me be a better leader for you and the NEA. My heart is with our members; I will always put them first!
CELEBRATING JUNETEENTH!
Celebrating Juneteenth helps students learn about American history, equity, diversity, and inclusion. It teaches them critical thinking and civic engagement skills and how to improve the world.
I am running for re-election to continue fighting for racial and social justice. As your leader, I will focus on enhancing education, racial, and social justice agendas and tools that further lift equity and respect for all. Please vote for me and join me in this fight.
See you at the representative assembly!
A FATHER IS AN EDUCATOR!
Happy Father’s Day to all who play that role. A parent is a child’s very first educator.
A father is an educator. Not in the traditional sense, a father doesn't stand at a smartboard or grade papers with red ink. But a father teaches us life lessons that we'll carry forever.
A father educates us on how to be strong, brave, and kind.
A father teaches us how to be fair and treat others respectfully.
A father instructs us on how to stand up for ourselves and others.
A father guides us on how to fight for what we believe in.
A father is one of our best educators, and we will always be grateful for the lessons they have taught us and the people they have helped us become.
I’m proud to have become a public school educator and leader of the NEA! I hope to see you at the NEA RA soon!
